‘ Posh Gruel ’

A savoury porridge of pearl barley, parsley and chives with crispy ox tongue and horseradish




Pickled roll mop Herring, potato salad and scraps


Main Course


Broiled partridge with bubble & squeak, root vegetables and roast pan juices



‘Robineau Trifle’

Layers of victoria sponge soaked with raspberry syrup, poached pears and raspberries, posh vanilla custard and topped with Chantilly cream and toasted almonds

Booking Your Table

As our restaurant nights are specially organised evenings, tables must be booked in advance and a deposit of £15 per person is required to confirm your booking. Tables can be reserved from 7pm by calling our office on 01325 489129. Regrettably deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable
